Your booking helps us raise funds to buy beekeeping equipment like gloves, bee suits and smokers for a village in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), located in the world’s second largest rainforest. The villagers know that without bees, our food security is at risk. That’s why food security needs bee security. Goal: $1000 US/$1400 AUD.

• Dr Vera Sistenich, a hobby beekeeper in Sydney, who has harvested 355 kilos of honey since 2015 and raised more than $16,000 to benefit emergency medicine education and beekeeping projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
• Fiona Chambers, CEO of Wheen Bee Foundation, who has 30 years business experience in the production and marketing of agricultural and horticultural commodities both in Australia and overseas.
