18th- 20th March 2022

Rotarians for Bees was well represented at the conference, with a booth; and with very informative presentations from John McCaskill and Lili-Ann Kriegler from Rotary Club of Canterbury, District 9800.

Lili-Ann presented conference attendees with a short video of the Waggle Dance, a dance choreographed for children (and the young at heart) to explain how bees communicate with one another.

John discussed the importance of bees and other pollinators to our food crops, highlighting the fact that most of the food that we (and farm livestock) eat is pollinated by bees and other pollinators.
